Hopsack Loose Twill Utility Shirt - Blue Heather
Description
It took a few iterations before we were satisfied with this utility shirt. The secret is always in the ingredients and though we treasure our formulas, we can divulge a bit. The idea was to develop a soft and wearable version of the 19th century utility shirts, often made with rough blends of wool and flax, no softer than a potato sack. You may have seen the original hardened versions in Spaghetti Westerns or perhaps Les Miserables. Our version uses soft dyed cotton slub tops, spun to a thicker than usual weaving yarn, and twisted with natural colored yarn, for a heather effect. Loosely woven and crafted as a proper work shirt.
